The Downfall Of American Christianity

The Bible is God’s Word and always will be. It contains wisdom that continues to baffle even its harshest critics; actually it probably baffles its harshest critics the most, which is why they’re the Bible’s harshest critics. And they criticize the Bible at their own peril. That’s not what I’m talking about here when I talk about the downfall of American Christianity.

Nor am I attacking Christianity. Nobody wants to see the church in America succeed more than I do. The church is the nation’s conscience, so it MUST succeed if America is to succeed.

Unfortunately, the Church in America has some fatal dramatic flaws which threaten its very existence. Like all existential threats, it’s a very simple threat, and one that, rationally, is easily conquered. But the men who call themselves pastors, unfortunately, have deeply-rooted personality flaws which unfortunately are magnified so large in their ministries that their idolatry of their own flaws is so much bigger than the God in them. So the God of the Bible is dwarfed by the legion of pathetic evil that has come to inhabit the collective modern church pastor. And the modern church pastor, stupidly, clings to these inner demons out of fear of financial loss. Meanwhile, these demons are sapping the lives of the collective American pastorate, and by extension, the wallets of these pastors and their churches. But such is the nature of evil.

American pastors rail against the American spirit of rugged individualism, or moreover, what might be considered the principle of individual sovereignty. It’s a distinctly masculine characteristic; but the modern pastor has bought into a communist, feminist, chaotic idea of sacrificing the will of God within to the will of the collective state. It’s collectivism, which swims with a sordid, inherently anti-Christian bunch of ideologies like multiculturalism and globalism, and it’s death to faith itself, because it’s really cowardice.

Moreover, the modern pastor has incorrectly attributed this forfeiting of the individual sovereignty, which is really the sovereignty of Christ living within the self – to selfishness. The modern pastor – most of the financially solvent ones aging, are at a stage of life where they are perhaps dependent, which doesn’t help them a long way to understanding the fundamental masculine God-design; but age is not the center of the issue by a long shot.

The American pastor has been duped by a FakeNews, media-induced theology of cowardice which has no Biblical basis but rather is rooted in the ways of the world. It’s a theology that media has fully convinced pastors is really their own God’s idea but in reality is merely a kind of theological poison pill.

Forgive me for not being able to articulate the elements of this poison pill better, but at the heart of it is a spirit of resignation, of defeatism, allegedly to God – as if God is somehow against the human person, rather than for us and living within.

A kingdom divided cannot stand; and unfortunately, the modern American pastor has adopted a fundamentally incoherent state of mind from the electronic oracles of our day. It’s an ideology and theology rooted in fear, and one that the American pastor thinks is completely fine, despite his behavior which betrays his spoken beliefs.

The modern American pastor encourages chaos as a means of proving himself right, and wishes for his own country’s defeat, in a full-fledged spirit of cowardice unbefitting of America and unbefitting of the God of the Bible he claims to serve.

The modern pastor accepts as fact that sodomy and infanticide is the new law of the land. He doubts himself and his countryman; and he sides with those who undermine the good and holy law of America and the Bible in favor of the murderer who threatens the lives of his very own children and their grandchildren.

The modern pastor is a despicable creature, in large part because he is a two-headed horse, a kingdom divided against itself, and thus racked and riled by demonic possession. He refuses to repent, or turn back toward God, and is foolish enough to think that America’s collapse will somehow prove his own vindication; and yet America will thrive as it always has, because God is in charge of America’s manifest destiny, whether the foolish, evil American “Christian” pastor champions enough chaos, homosexuality, and infanticide, and illegal immigration, or not.

Here’s to God’s word reigning as sovereign, and to the further revealing of the true character of the wayward American pastor for what it really is – a dwindling pawn of Satan ripe for his just desserts, whatever God deems those might be.
